Qualified Trainers expands platform with qualification and development partnership with Archon Academy

New partnership adds accredited qualifications and professional development to the Qualified Trainers ecosystem

Qualified Trainers has announced a strategic partnership with Archon Academy, one of the UK's leading regulated fitness education providers, creating an end-to-end workforce solution that combines instructor management with accredited qualifications and ongoing professional development.

The partnership introduces a new qualification and learning layer to the Qualified Trainers platform, enabling operators to recruit, manage, develop and upskill their workforce through a single ecosystem.

Qualified Trainers has established itself as a workforce management platform purpose-built for the group fitness industry, helping operators simplify instructor scheduling, compliance and payroll. Through this new collaboration, operators in the UK will also gain access to nationally recognised qualifications, accredited CPD programmes and bespoke learning pathways delivered by Archon Academy.

Archon Academy brings more than 20 years of education experience, working alongside major organisations including Gymshark and Everyone Active, with regulated qualifications and quality assurance recognised by CIMSPA and leading awarding organisations.

Jason Edwards, Co-Founder of Qualified Trainers, said: "We've always believed workforce management shouldn't stop once an instructor joins a club. Operators need a complete solution that helps them attract, manage and retain exceptional talent throughout their careers.

“This partnership allows us to support the entire instructor journey. From recruitment and compliance through to qualifications, continuous professional development and career progression, we're helping operators invest in their people while creating new opportunities for instructors."

Under the partnership, operators can choose between two delivery models.

The first is a fully white-labelled Qualified Trainers Academy, providing learning and qualifications under the Qualified Trainers brand. The second is a co-branded model, powered directly by Archon Academy, allowing operators to benefit from the education provider's established regulatory credentials. In both cases, Archon Academy manages all course delivery, assessment, learner support and accreditation, allowing Qualified Trainers and operators to focus on workforce development without adding operational complexity.

Kate Ford, Founder of Archon Academy, said:

"Operators consistently tell us that finding and developing great instructors remains one of their biggest challenges. By partnering with Qualified Trainers, we're making high-quality education far more accessible while removing the complexity traditionally associated with workforce development.

"Together we're creating a seamless pathway that supports instructors throughout their careers and helps operators build stronger, more capable fitness teams."

The qualification portfolio includes Level 2 and Level 3 fitness qualifications, specialist programmes covering areas such as pre and postnatal exercise, long-term health conditions and management, alongside accredited CPD including Mental Health & Exercise Coaching, Reformer Pilates and bespoke operator learning programmes.

The partnership represents another step in Qualified Trainers' mission to simplify group fitness operations, giving operators a single platform that supports every stage of workforce management, from recruitment and scheduling through to development, retention and career progression.
